Hilton Garden Inn Valdosta

I gave this hotel 2 stars because a few reasons. First to start the room was a nice size, but the A/C unit was loud. I forgot to get pictures but the tub was stained. The room could use an upgrade. The refrigerator was very small, yet Im happy to have something. The elevator was past inspection date (I have pictures but won’t allow me to post), the main entrance door was the only door to get in and out. Very inconvenient! Even the pool door would not allow you to exit or enter . The gym is very small, yet Im glad to have something. Overall not the best bang for your buck!

The customer service and staff here was excellent. We were in town to see family that was admitted into the hospital. While the staff was very welcoming and friendly and the foyer/common areas had been updated. This hotel is not up to the standards that I have come to expect with Hilton properties. The rooms were very outdated and they were not clean. I feel confident in saying that the only thing done in our room was sheets changed, bed made, and the towels switched out. It was just filthy in there and the room stunk.

Positive: The only positive was the free breakfast vouchers and the woman who worked the cafe area. Negative: This hotel was $---- a night and it was worse than a budget hotel on the side of the highway. The furniture was dirty. My comforter had a stain. Wallpaper coming down in the bathroom. It was disgustingly. I have pictures if needed.

All five stars for this hotel. The entire staff is incredible. The service is above and beyond and whoever is doing the hiring should be congratulated. I would single out Holly and Misty is truly exceptional. Both of them work harder to make sure guests are happy than anyone I have ever seen. I stay in hotels about 350 days a year and those two are the best I have ever seen. When this hotel gets renovated, it will be a 4 star hotel and the staff will make you feel like a friend at home. This is the stop to make on I-75 when coming or going from/to Florida. Do not miss this hotel!

The beds are old, squeaky and very uncomfortable . Pillows are terrible . Make sure you bring your own. The water never got more than warm. No coffee in the lobby and when they do have it, it’s 1 kurig coffee maker and takes forever for it to make a cup. Leading to people waiting forever to get a cup. Breakfast is supposed to start at 6:30. It was right at 7.
