Hilton Garden Inn North Dallas Central Expy

Hotels reviews tend to be so extreme - either people love where they stay or they absolutely hate it. I'm attempting to give a balanced and honest review. Overall, I liked this place well enough. Room was very clean, the staff were super nice, and the hotel is in a decent location. My only complaint is the bed - I found the bed terribly uncomfortable.

I should've listened to the reviews. We dealt with ants the entire weekend. When the room above us showered we heard a loud clanking noise lile someone was hitting the wall. I have never stayed at a hotel where breakfast was not complimentary!!!! $11 for a small waffle shaped like Texas and 3-4 sausages. The same thing I could've made myself at a complimentary breakfast. | The only good thing aminety wise was the parking garage. We will never stay at this location again. We will definitely pay attention to if breakfast is not complimentary.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn North Dallas Central Expy this past weekend for a short couples trip and unfortunately had a really disappointing experience. When we arrived, check in was fine and the woman at the front desk was polite at first. We booked a king room and specifically chose this hotel because it advertised EV chargers and an indoor hot tub. When we got to our room, we realized we were given two beds instead of the king room we booked. My boyfriend went back downstairs and was told they had overbooked nine king rooms and there was nothing they could do, so we were stuck in a two bed room for our couples trip. I booked for my college daughter who was visiting friends. The room and location was good. The bar service was a little slow but very friendly 😊

No heat in the room. The thermostat was broken and had to be replaced which maintenance did but set it at 62 degrees (on a cold November night) so it took well over 45 minutes for the room to heat up to a comfortable temperature. Wasp in the room 3 nights in a row and ants crawling on the floor. Locks were updated by maintenance which resulted in our door keys not working. We notified the front office and were told to use the phone on the floor if the keys still didn't work after resetting them. The keys didn't work and when trying to call the office from our floor, the telephone on our floor did not work either. Room was finally put out of service and we were finally offered a different room on the last night of our stay. That second room had drainage issues in the tub. The water draine
