Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham/Lakeshore Drive

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Garden Inn on Lakeshore Drive in Birmingham. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. Matthew at the front desk checked me in quickly and efficiently, and he was incredibly courteous and welcoming. It immediately set the tone for a great stay. Miss Donna prepared my Caesar salad and was so kind and attentive to detail — you can tell she takes pride in what she does. Keesha, the bartender, truly went above and beyond with her hospitality. She treated me like family and made the whole experience feel warm and personal. That level of service is rare these days and very appreciated. My room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed after a long day. The only small suggestion I would make is that the bar could use some wine

This hotel is a typical HGI, with a great room and good sleep. However, this time there were a few oddities worth noting…|The sign at the breakfast gave a price for the “full breakfast”. In every other case, this means that you get everything for that price. Not here. When our bill turned out to be higher than it should have been, we were told it was because we ordered eggs! OK, so I get that eggs are higher priced these days, but then put that on your sign if you’re going to charge for them.|Also, we did laundry here. The cost was exorbitant at $3.50 per load. The machine took a credit card, but when we checked on the bill that night, they charged us $5 per load! Fortunately, when I showed this to the guy at the front desk, he refunded the money in cash. |Of course this isn’t a lot of mon

The hotel itself is great! We rented multiple rooms - all were clean, comfortable & made for a very relaxing stay. I would certainly recommend based on the accommodations alone. However, what truly makes this hotel 5 stars & the reason you should stay here are the people who work here!! The staff truly went above and beyond, providing friendly, attentive, and efficient service. Multiple people who we interacted with (from the night desk worker to the general manager) were extremely professional, kind & helpful. This level of hospitality significantly enhanced my experience, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and supportive stay!

We have stayed at this hotel several times and everything was great. But apparently something has changed. This time, the water pressure in the sink tap was very weak, the thermostat didn't work at all, and the biggest surprise was that breakfast was completely unavailable due to low occupancy, and nobody warned us about this the evening before; we were simply presented with this fact when we went for breakfast. I'm not sure we'll want to stay here again.
