Hilton Garden Inn Albany Airport

Very good experience. Staff extremely friendly and professional. Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Great shuttle service. Accommodating. I missed my early flight….they came back and got me and let me check back in! Shower could have been better and needed to tweak the coffee maker. But all in all great stay.

Booked last minute and got a heck of a deal with trip.com. Check in was easy and Casey was very friendly at the desk. However, when we got to our room, it was handicapped accessible, which I did not select, the shower wall where the bench was sitting was dirty and the mini fridge door was all rotted out around the outer part. We arrived late so we didn’t want to fuss about it as we were getting up early to head out. Bed was clean and comfortable. Overall, it was a decent stay for the buck

I had an early morning flight out of Albany on January 3rd and was a guest at the hotel on January 2, 2026. Having traveled for many years, I've found that front desk personnel often provide an early indication of how your stay will be. In this instance, I'd have to give Casey at the front desk a rating of 10 on a scale of 5. While clearly not patronizing at all, she was incredible, both in terms of attitude, courtesy and friendliness. She was extremely helpful and very kind in her dealings with me and it truly gave me a good feeling that lasted for the duration of the stay. I will definitely make this my place to stay anytime I have early morning travel out of the Albany Airport.

We chose this specific hotel as it offered pet friendly lodging. Our overall experience was absolutely fantastic. As a professional in the housekeeping industry my standards are high when it comes to staying in hotels, this location checked all the boxes! Clean rooms with mini fridge/microwave/coffee in room. Ample towels & toiletries. Extra blankets upon request. Pool was open as advertised. Holiday decor & music in the lobby set the mood for our trip. On-site convenience store with snacks/drinks etc. The hotel restaurant served delicious meals & drinks at reasonable prices, with incredible cooks/wait staff. Our puppy was welcomed by staff and treated like a princess. The staff at this location were kind and attentive. I would highly recommend this hotel & will book here again in the futu

First of all. There was no one at the desk when I got there. I dropped off my backpack and went to my room and came back and there was an older lady and a lady with pajamas on at the desk talking- they ignored me. It was 5pm. This hotel is literally from the 90s. The entire place smelled like musty and smoke. Very run down. They didn't even have drawers in the bathrooms. They just stuck stuff in that dusty area. The plastic darning curtains were all ripped. The drapes and lamps and carpet are straight from the 1990s. I am not a clean person and I was afraid to sit! The worst part was I could hear everything. My neighbor sneezed for quite a bit and then snored all night. The worst was there was either a band in the other room or a night club- I don't think there was a night club.
