Hilltop Inn by Riversage

Both the hotel and its patrons seem to be 70ish. If you’re fine with old carpet and smaller beds, the rooms are quite adequate. We appreciated that the fragrance on the towels and sheets isn’t strong. The staff is very kind. The breakfast is the standard pastries, sausages, and instant oatmeal packets variety. Expect guests with early morning surgery appointments at the hospital next door to start banging doors and using their outdoor voices in the hall at 4:30 am but otherwise the location is very quiet.

Nice big rooms. Everything was very clean.|The breakfast is excellent with different dishes every morning.|Location is fine, free parking and walking distance to down town|And the best thing: they have a big popcorn machine in the reception, so free popcorn every afternoon. Loved it :-)

So perfect right by the clinic. So helpful with anything needed like Toilet extender, fan, just check with them before you go without. Breakfast was grand and rooms clean and always set up perfectly. They were just doing some remodeling when we were there and so it will be even better! (Also they do have a handicapped room if needed) I will take photos next time

Positive: Staff was helpful and responsive to requests, room was spotless, bed was comfortable, atmosphere was quiet, facilities were great, breakfast was wonderful. It is impossible to select only one thing that was “best” … what a great problem to have! Negative: Nothing was lacking here.

Thank you so much for our wonderful stay here at Hilltop. My newborn baby girl and I could not go home from the hospital after my 2 year old son came down with a virus. In our smaller home there would be no way to keep her separate and safe, so she and I stayed here. So glad we did! Though we didn't see much of the staff (and the staff didn't see all that much of us) every interaction we did have was friendly and warm. All the little touches that the folk who work here put into making guests feel truly cared for and comfortable are evident and were something we so appreciated! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
