Heart of Texas Motel

Positive: "" Negative: It was very old and out of date. Not clean outside, poor repairs, stained comforters, creepy people walking around, and very old. Just really not well kept and needs a major renovation. I thought about moving but there is a sign that says ?No refunds?

I will for sure be coming back! Brought my crew of workers and we stayed for over 4 months. Lovely facility and management was so kind and easy to work with

We were there just a couple of days ago. The outside appearance of the motel made us concern with how the rooms would look like and concern about the location. We walked in with a strong ammonia oder which we thought was a good sign that it was clean, but not the case. The floors weren't carpeted, which was good because there were 5 spots/drops of stuff on the it. After wiping the floor up, we felt better. However, after turning down the sheets it was obvious they were not cleaned. We got clean sheets. The white towels were old and grayish in color. . . clean though. The curtain had a hole in it. I wouldn't recommend staying there.

I normally don't stay at motels but this was kind of a last second thing. The motel was off the highway, not too far from a large shopping center which was nice. The exterior of the motel looked like it was unfinished like they had primed it but not painted it.There was a small putting green in this field next to the hotel which I thought was odd and there was no swimming pool, I'm not sure if there used to be an in the ground or above ground pool because all there was was just a concrete space enclosed in a fence with a old life preserver hanging on the fence. Now to the room it was relatively clean and the bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning worked just fine. The noise level was pretty good, I have noise canceling earphones so that made it even more quiet. The shower had real

Pretty out-of-the-way place. Was hiking around Austin so decided to stay here. Got decent service. The room was basically what you'd expect, but there was a hole in the wall, a bunch of roaches (10ish) which spooked me a few times, the door did not seal all the way so you could hear the highway outside pretty clearly, and there were a couple stains on the sheets. Overall basically a pretty bottom-of-the-barrel experience, I would recommend staying somewhere else for a little bit more. Lady in the morning did not look at all surprised when I told her about the roaches so expect all the rooms to be like that and for them to do nothing about it if that matters to you.
