Harbor Lite Motel

The place is definitely no-frills, but it served the purpose. My bathroom door did not close, There was no extra toilet paper in the bathroom or tissues, I had to go to the office to get a roll of toilet paper which is a little inconvenient because they're not always there. You have to ring a doorbell. I was happy that there was no bugs in my room so that's a plus and I don't know about the other reviews, but nobody tried going into my room. I saw the guy that was cleaning the rooms. I guess the maintenance guy he was very easy to talk to and I explained to him I don't need any service while I'm there and he did not once attempt to enter my room. Based on the reviews posted on TripAdvisor, I had expected an older motel, but well maintained place. However, that was really not the case. || Although the staff were very friendly and accommodating, I feel I need to do an honest evaluation of this motel for the sake of those considering stay here.|| I have to say the bathroom was sub-par at best. The water pressure was almost non-existent -- taking at least 10 minutes to obtain water warm enough for hand washing. We did not use the shower at all since it seemed to have part of the floor missing and looked scary-- mold? Don't judge a book by the cover. I had a issue with my card and had to find a place to pay cash. I had my doubts but this place was cleaner than most. There was not even sand on the floor (no carpet) when I realized that I really looked. I didn't find dust. The servis is more than you need they show you every thing. Would not stay out of my room even though I strictly told them I didn't want or need them cleaning or servicing the room. Do you not understand Do Not Disturb means.very wierd place.

Really bad place to stay!!! They come in your room when you not there and if u have visitors they tell you nobody can be there and try to kick you out…. Very bad experience!!!! I would highly recommend not staying here!!! The husband and wife are so rude. They will take your money for the room and then try to find any reason to kick you out and not give you back your money for room .
