Hampton Inn & Suites Venice Bayside South Sarasota

This location is ideal with Pinchers restaurant right across the street. The breakfast was wonderful. We stayed in a king suite which was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The reason for three stars instead of more is that the extra blanket in the closet had stains on it. The second reason is that the water does NOT get hot. I called the front desk to inquire about it and was told someone would get back with me. That never happened. Lukewarm/borderline cold showers are not acceptable when one pays a lot of money to stay there.

Hampton Inn in Venice is a fantastic location. Very close to shops, downtown and a quick drive to the beach. We always enjoy the location. There is quick access to the bike path as well. The renovations are wonderful! The lobby, rooms on 2nd and 3rd floor have been remodeled. Construction continues on 1st floor but we did not notice any noise or disruption. The decor is light and coastal. Rooms are good size with standard furniture. The bathroom spacious as well. There are plenty of chairs in the pool and hot tub area. There are 4 balconies (2 on 2nd floor and 2 on 3rd floor) that over view the pool from the interior hallway. Previously these were available to anyone to enjoy but now you must be booked in the room type king study to gain access. Daily breakfast is as expected in Hampton In

Stayed for 2 nights in a suite. Hotel is updated, very clean. Love the lobby area, very welcoming. Beds were comfortable. We got a suite which was very nice. Loved the fridge/ freezer and the bar sitting area. It was nice that there was a sink in the bathroom as well as one with a larger counter and mirror outside the bathroom. Breakfast was pretty good and all staff encountered were very friendly and welcoming.

Very nice Hampton Inn near two good seafood places-Pinchers & Dockside Waterfront. Clean, quiet, safe. Good hot breakfast. Cheerful staff.
