Best Western Plus Ambassador Suites Venice

The most meh hotel ever. My biggest gripe is that it is a $119 a night hotel charging $249. As other reviews say, it is very out of date. Some rooms have been updated slightly but it’s as if they went to a clearance section. Nothing matches and it’s still very outdated looking. The beds are still from 1990, super scratchy linens old worn blanket and the comforter was a thin curtain. Pillows sucked. I was super pleased with the laminate flooring in the room and the rubber flooring in the gym. This was a pleasant surprise. The pool is ok. Pretty small and all shade (February) in the afternoon. The gym has a cable crossover which is pretty rare and exciting. Sadly not the greatest quality and a pretty small weight stack. The floor was absolutely disgusting when I arrived. It took asking

One thing is for certain…. This hotel has the best customer service I have ever experienced at any hotel ever. Every single staff member goes out of their way to accommodate and problem solve, starting with Ashley at the front desk who make an immediate positive impact on our experience. The location of the hotel is convenient, it’s right off of the highway and there are good food options nearby. It’s a 10 minute drive to downtown Venice and the beach. The hotel itself is very nice with large rooms, many of them with new renovations. The pool is also very nice as is the breakfast. The ambience is also very nice…. But as I previously mentioned, the star here is the staff. I just can’t say enough good things about everyone.

24 reception with friendly staff. The hotel itself although clean enough, is ready for a refreshing upgrade. Breakfast is good with enough choice. There are warm beverages and filtered water available 24h. The room windows are screwed closed so you need to continuously run the air handler to get air into the room.

Nice clean hotel. Coffee was great! We never eat the hotel breakfast so I can't offer any recommendation on that. The beds were very comfortable; rooms very clean and Staff were kind, friendly and helpful. Pool was clean and heated. Stayed 3 nights. Overall, great value for the price we paid for the hotel! We will stay there again!
