Hampton Inn & Suites St. Louis/Chesterfield

very clean and nice place. Staff is as good as you get. you can tell the mgmt is awesome based on how every single worker seems happy. Would stay here every single time we are in the area. Also for those who need to use the assist chair go get into the pool.....it works. 90 percent of them don't....theirs does...again because this place is great.

Positive: Location, room, indoor pool, decent fee for pets and room placement close to pet outdoor area. Staff was awesome, and breakfast was outstanding! Negative: Nothing!!!

Great experience at this location! Remodeled rooms were well done and well appointed. Everything was clean and fresh. All staff...day and evening front desk, breakfast and house keeping were all pleasant and helpful. This hotel has restored some of my hope in the Hilton brand. Would definitely stay again!

Pros: The room was large. The location was good -- lots of shopping and restaurants nearby with easy access to the highway. There was a friendly front desk person, whose name I don't remember unfortunately. She was very helpful when we needed extra towels. The housekeeping staff were all very nice. The beds were standard Hampton Inn beds and very comfortable. The cook top and microwave were in good working order.|Cons: To start, there was a pervasive smell in the hallway to the elevator and to the exit. The closest thing I can compare it to was old mop water. There were multiple college hockey teams staying at the hotel and we could smell the mop water/mildew smell even through the cloud of Axe body spray in the mornings. This is a solid hotel for those of us on the road looking for a certain standard or just for anyone passing through. The rooms were newly remodeled, spacious with tall ceilings, clean, everything worked, and breakfast was solid. Plus great location including the restaurant right across the parking lot, very much walking distance. Staff were welcoming and kind too.
