DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel St. Louis - Chesterfield

The staff was the best part of this stay. They were super friendly and even offered to put my dinner leftovers in one of their office fridges since I had to check out early and stay for a meeting. There was ample parking and the elevators were quick, so there weren't long waits. The rooms were a bit disappointing though. The pillows became flat and the bed was sinking in the middle. There was a decent size bug on my ceiling the first night I arrived. The rooms definitely need updates because they are outdated. My room had several damaged and cracked walls/doorframes. The toilet was also not properly calked around the bottom, so it was a little wobbly. The bed frame stuck out way past the actual mattress, so I ended up banging my leg several times on the frame which hurt quite a bit at nigh

Great place for families and large groups traveling together! Plenty of room to relax and spread out through the hotel. The staff was great, very helpful and kind. Breakfast buffet was delicious and Starbucks in the lobby was essential! Rooms were a bit dated but didn't spend any time in there because the hotel had plenty of areas to congregate.

Great hotel. The receptionists were very friendly and attentive. The room was comfortable and clean. I was attending a conference here. The food provided by the hotel was very flavorful. Snack and drinks were available the full time. Conference rooms were accommodating and fit the needs of the conference.

Positive: The staff was extremely friendly. It was my daughters 3rd bday and they greeted her when we arrived and gave her bday candy! Negative: The water at the hotel was not hot so I had to take a cold/warm shower. My husband let the hotel know and they gave us another room key to shower in for hubby and the kids.

The positive reviews are.. deceiving at best. There is an infestation of Asian beetles that fly throughout the room. I’m staring at 6 as a I type this review. I’ve changed to 2 different rooms over the span of 12 nights here and was welcomed by the same issue. 12 nights of sleeping with one eye open and I even had one crawling on the pillow next to me. Hotel staff is nice but it doesn’t make up for the current poor conditions of the room. All they could do for me was vacuum the bugs but that’s it. The rooms are outdated and walls are thin (I hear every cough and every flush). I regret my 12 night stay here.
