Hampton Inn & Suites Mystic

In a pretty great location, located right next to the village, and not far from the highway. The staff was very nice although main just stood there. The rooms appeared clean, and rhe beds are comfortable. Unfortunately the fridge didn't work, the walls a VERY thin, and the one elevator doesn't work. It opens so you can get on but then doesn't move if you don't time it right, that's the elevator that opens for you and you have to repeatedly press the button to call the other one As to the walls being thin, its 6:30am and there's been a toddler and his family in the hallway yelling for on and off for 45 minutes....

Everyone was so nice and friendly. The breakfast had a very nice selection to choose from. The hot chocolate bar was awesome and open all day/night along with coffee/tea. The lobby had a wonderful fireplace with different games to play and a book section to enjoy. The pool area was very nice with a hot shower in the pool area to rinse off and well as a shower in the bathrooms!

I arrived on the afternoon of December 10, and was given Room 131 on the first floor. Not only was this a perfect accessible room, but it was an easy walk to the lobby and breakfast area. The heat was on 24/7, the walk in shower was easily used, and the bed was comfy. I also had no trouble using the laundry on the second floor. I only used the fitness center once, and never went swimming, since there were never other guests in the pool area.||Breakfast was always good. I especially loved the fresh, fluffy biscuits. There were no free water bottles or cookies at check-in, but I didn't mind.||Each of the staff, from the desk clerks to the breakfast people were friendly and helpful. I didn't interact much with the other guests, but I didn't have to. Also, the lobby was magnifice

This hotel exceeded all expectations. The staff were excellent. Our room was very spacious. The beds and bedding were superb. The entire property was spotless. The breakfast was very good with many choices and tasty coffees. The lobby was our favorite place with a beautiful fireplace, TV, and comfy sofas and armchairs! This is also where breakfast is served...fantastic! Highly recommended.
