Delamar Mystic

I had the opportunity to stay at Delamar Mystic during the snowstorm this past weekend and I was impressed by the atmosphere, the attention to detail, but most of all the level of hospitality from the staff! Everyone was incredibly pleasant and greeted me warmly. The check-in process was quick and straightforward, and it was easy to get to the room. The front desk made sure we knew we could call for anything we need. Later on, it was enjoyable talking to Penny at the front desk while I waited to go into the on-site restaurant (La Plage) for lunch, and she was incredibly sweet and informative of the surroundings area. Our experience at Delamar was outstanding from start to finish. Each and every staff member welcomed us warmly and made us feel comfortable. The property is gorgeously appointed and manages to create a luxurious feel without feeling stuffy. Located on the water, the views are dynamic. |Our dog, Sailor was a big hit too! We really appreciate the location and cheerful vibe throughout our stay. The bar, restaurant and lounge provided us with exceptional drinks as we “people watched,” chatted with guests and played some cards. We just spent a night at Delamar Mystic, and it was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were exquisite. Waking up to a view of the frozen Mystic River while wrapped in the hotel’s heavy, plush bathrobes felt straight out of a movie. The fire in the lounge was glowing, the decor and color palette throughout the property are beautifully done, and every detail feels intentional. Brayden at the front desk provided a smooth, effortless check-in. Stephen and Donnie at valet were true gentlemen, welcoming, professional, and happy to offer fun local recommendations. The young lady who drove us to Oyster Club in the hotel’s electric VW was pleasant and made the short ride light and enjoyable. From start to finish, our stay at the Delamar Mystic was ideal. We live in Connecticut and saw this wonderful hotel being built. The final result is as close to perfection as you could want.| Our room was spacious and very well-appointed. The complimentary amenities were splendid. It was a great convenience to have valet parking and even better to not need to drive ourselves to dinner in Mystic. Breakfast was ample, creative, and delicious. As always, I must give high marks to the Delamar Mystic for their dedicated care regarding food allergy awareness and dedication.|We were unable to take advantage of their offer of free admission to Mystic Seaport, through no fault of theirs. We loved it here. Stunning hotel which looks not nearly as beautiful from the outside as it is from the inside. Spacious rooms, great views but the best is the service. Talia was our local guide and even gave us a choice of rooms, and was just wonderful. Alex was great in the restaurant and bar and we will be back for sure.
