Hampton Inn & Suites Merced

Drove from LA for our son’s university volleyball game. First, I was confused with all negative reviews I read prior to book a room. But decided to try and don’t regret! Place is very clean, warm and smiling front desk lady, room is big and clean. Only one minus, that jacuzzi and pool water is not heated.

I really loved my stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely nice and the check-in/check-out process was super quick and easy. The room was very spacious and clean, and the hotel was maintained well. Breakfast was also really good and had varieties. Overall, a great experience!

Just a big heads up! - I booked a room just outside of Yosemite, looking for a hotel with a nice hot tub. Arrived, checked in, nice room, nice staff, but no working hot tub! I even told the desk we were there for the hot tub, and how excited we were that the pool area was open 6am - 11pm. The person that checked us in did not say a word about it being broken. So we checked in, jumped in our swimsuits, and headed to the pool... hot tub broken with debris floating in it. Looked online after I got home.. it's been broken for months! So buyer beware - nice room, but no hot tub. You can also pass on this hotel if you are expecting a nice breakfast. Very low quality. It works in a pinch. The TV did not work at all, but my boyfriend had an ipad, so we were still able to watch movies. S

Positive: Was not happy with the hotel. Elevator was not working. Having family member get stuck. Making us late to our event. Negative: AC was dripping water. We didn’t notice until my kid got his feet wet and resulted with getting sick and a cough.

Stayed in 3 different rooms, on 3 different nights. The mobility king was really roomy and nice, bed was comfortable but the shower water covered the whole bathroom and ran to the toilet. Regular king, the bed was hard as a rock. Breakfast was good, lots of choices.
