Hampton Inn & Suites Keene

The rooms are smaller than many Hampton inn and suites. Shower was great. Rooms were in disrepair and ours had a smoky smell that seemed to come from a heater. We had to move rooms three times because the first three had no heat. The woman who greeted us the first night was excellent but the manager was not friendly at all. The breakfast was typical Hampton but they did have fresh fruit which was a nice change. No the greatest Hampton but better than the Brattleboro one .

Our daughter and her family live in the Keene area and we started staying in this hotel when we visit shortly after it opened. We were there again last month and we very disappointed. The carpeting throughout the hotel is filthy. It looks like it hasn't been cleaned ever in some areas. The elevators are particularly bad. The room is poorly maintained. There is mildew around the bottom of the shower and some of the furniture was broken and dirty. The bed was one of the least comfortable we've slept in. ||Breakfast is included with the room, but it's mediocre at best. There's always a hot bar with some form of meat, usually sausage, potatoes, and an egg dish. They are all of institutional quality and seem like they were frozen food that has been microwaved. Great first time say in Keene NH! This hotel is very clean and modern, is in a central location with several food options near and 7 minutes away from the main city. The hotel has a big parking lot and an indoor pool. We stayed in room 426. Our stay was very quiet on the top floor. Beds were comfortable, the pillows did not have much support though. The bathroom was big enough and had plenty of towels. I also liked the zero % products in the shower and body lotion near the sink. We never had an issue getting hot water from the sink and shower. The hotel workers were also friendly. My only suggestion would be bigger trash bins in the rooms, they are small and fill quickly. Overall I would stay at this hotel again!

I like this location. Its squared away. *edit* they kind of dropped the ball on this stay. A re occurring issue which happened to me, and also other guests as I was passing by - nobody was ever at the front desk, always tucked away in the back. Took 5 minutes to ask for towels, hours passed and had to wait again to re ask for towels. I didn't feel the "hospitality" this go around.

Positive: Clean and better than avg breakfast. Negative: The communal restrooms were always out of soap or paper towel.
