Hampton Inn & Suites Hershey

This place is a hot mess !!!!! I waited a month to give them a chance to fix this like they said they would but they didn’t instead Zach has decided to not answer any emails or follow up . I feel like I was very chill since I work in customer service too hints why I waited to post this . 1st problem —- checking in was an absolute nightmare!!!!! Ebar I believe was his name is clueless, We get our room key and it doesn’t work . I go back to the front desk and tell him he says try it again you’re not using it right and shows me how to use it lol I was using it right . I try again anyway guess what it didn’t work so I go back down to tell him and he gives me a new key and that one didn’t work either so I went back down again . He comes up with me to make sure we are using the key right and it

This place is pretty nice. Close to alot of food place. Breakfast is great! Has a good TV in room with a refrigerator and microwave. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Brandon is the best. Not sure if he is a manager or not but he should be or deserves a raise. He is very friendly knowledgeable and always working doing something. Very impressed by his customer service and great attitude. I had an issue with my toilet function and they had a fixed within a few hours. The reason not 5 stars is because the bed was uncomfortable in my opinion and the pillows werent that good Also the parking was difficult with no back entrance to go in wqith your room key and the elevator seems old and shaky. Exactly what we expect at a Hampton Inn: comfortable beds, good breakfast, and clean. Appreciate the reliability! Very convenient to all the attractions; as seniors of a certain age, we very much enjoyed the Hershey Story Museum (spent two hours there!).

Positive: Location Negative: Reserved a handicap room but was told they didn?t have one. Made for a very uncomfortable stay. The bathroom was almost not accessible. Handicapped parking was at the back of the building and a very long hike to the room.

We stayed here on Saturday night and were disappointed in the quality of the room at the price we paid. The bed was overly firm and uncomfortable. The air unit maintained the temperature we wanted, but it squeaked every time it ran. By the time we realized this, it was too late in the evening to try switching to a different room. I think we'll try a different hotel next time. The staff were friendly but the hotel itself needs some updates.
