Hampton Inn & Suites Ft. Lauderdale/Miramar

Im an active Diamond member with Hilton have been for many years. When I booked this property it was after a long weekend of work and I presumed that it was close to the Fort Lauderdale airport. It wasn't until I checked in that the front desk manager said that we were 30 mins away. I was surprised but had already swiped my card. I went up to the room and spoke with my nieces and we determined that with our early 5am flight this location would be inconvenient. I called the front desk and asked immediately if we could move to a different property being that we had literally just checked in and didn't use the room at all. The lady was rude and extremely unhelpful and not understanding. The complete opposite of what hospitality truly means. it's your job to work with people be hospitable and

My stay was amazing, this is my second stay here and the staff, hotel and amenities are amazing. I thought I may have left some articles of clothing in the room I was in last, so I stopped by the front desk on my out. Yolanda assisted me with my check out and I asked if they keep items left in the room and she said yes up to three months. She found the room I stayed in and checked and to my surprise she found my clothes. I’m so grateful, I want to say Thank You to Yolanda and the housekeeping staff.

Our family liked our stay here. It was comfortable and the staff were excellent. Yasmine in particular was very professional, caring, welcoming, and helpful! She was such a pleasure to talk to and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. It is people like her who make a good difference in the world! Thank you Yasmine!

The hotel is well kept, but they need to do a better job in scheduling their carpet and upholstery cleaning. I was given a room that had the carpet cleaned literally a few minutes before I checked in. I got to my room and the carpet was wet. I asked to be moved to another room but they told me the hotel was sold out. All I could do was to set towels so I could walk from the bathroom to the bed.

This hotel has lots of good things. Staff is really nice, amenities are good and for a SoFl hotel it was very quiet and serene. It's also in a really scenic location, lots of shade and trees. Not so great - the carpet in the room was dirty. It's not cool to see dirty socks from the carpet. The automated assistant checked in with me about the stay. I said the room smells musty. No response lol. I had to turn the air conditioning on super cold to circulate air. I do like this hotel but please clean the carpet.
