Courtyard by Marriott Fredericksburg Historic District

Excellent location, walking distance to everything you could need. Clean, modern, and convenient with reasonable pricing. As other reviews have mentioned, the bistro and bar areas have minimal staffing so base your expectations accordingly. That said, the food we got from the bistro was perfectly fine - no complaints. If we’re ever back in Fredericksburg we’ll stay here again.

I had a convenient and comfortable stay at the Courtyard. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and easy to access, which made my trip smooth and stress-free. Overall, a solid choice for a short stay.

Our stay started off with an early check-in at 10:00 am. Our room was spotless and comfortable. The housekeeping services were outstanding. The Front Desk staff were always friendly and helpful. Every morning we ate breakfast at the hotel. The meals were delicious and filling. Prior to our stay we had read a couple of reviews that stated the hotel was "noisy". We did not find that to be the case. This a great hotel in the heart of historic Fredericksburg and we recommend it wholeheartedly!

Extremely walkable area! Kind Staff, and clean rooms. The pool and hot tub areas were well kept too and felt like a nice addition. We only stayed a night but it was quiet and safe feeling!

The location of this Marriot in the historic district of Fredericksburg, recommendations from friends, and being a loyal Bon Voy member with great experiences made the decision to stay easy. Unfortunately, the high reliability and expected excellence from Marriot was lost at this location. Staff at the front desk were pleasant and the room was clean. The bar and lounge disappointed. My party of six simply wanted a quiet atmosphere to catch up and share a beverage amongst family and friends. After waiting at the bar for 20 minutes without even an acknowledgment or a ‘be right with you’ we left to another welcoming establishment with excellent service. The one staff member managing a busy bar and tasked with preparing food and beverage was understandably overwhelmed. We don’t place any blame
