Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte-Airport

Surprise Great! I've stayed in a ton of Hamptons. Like them. Here, great HR! Everyone nice, friendly, smiley, helpful. Brightened my day. Also, towels uniquely folded, small things, but small things become big things. Feel like the people here care about you more than usual. Really like it.

I arrived at the hotel around 7 p.m., and the receptionist at the front desk checked me in with warm hospitality. It was a cheerful beginning to my one-night layover stay.Hampton Inn turned out to be one of the few hotels that kindly offered bottled water upon arrival, which I appreciated. Later, when I asked for some disposable plates, the receptionist went to the kitchen and brought me five with a smile—a small but thoughtful gesture that made me feel well cared for.From the window of my room, I enjoyed a view filled with trees. I believe that’s why the room was so calm and quiet, which gave me a truly restful night’s sleep.As a hotel adjacent to the airport, Hampton Inn provides free shuttle service for its guests. 1 Star – Extremely Disappointing Check-In Experience My recent stay at Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Charlotte Airport (2731 Little Rock Road, Charlotte, NC) started off on a very negative note due to the behavior of the front desk associate, Tammy. Upon check-in, I attempted to use my Goldman Sachs Apple Credit Card. I was informed that the tap machine was not working, which I completely understand can happen. However, instead of handling the situation professionally, Tammy very loudly and abruptly stated she could not accept my card because it did not have numbers on the back and that she “had to have the numbers” to manually enter the $50 incidental hold. Her tone was unnecessarily loud, dismissive, and unprofessional — especially in a public lobby setting. I provided my virtual car

This is a 5 star hotel but the complimentary breakfast was terrible. The lady that was running the kitchen was so not trying to keep the food served properly. Guest were waiting patiently for service but she was acting so unconcerned. Hell the coffee pots were even empty. Hotel was very nice but grab breakfast somewhere else until the staff is up to par.

The king size rooms are nice and spacious. There's a desk area if you have to work. The location is close to the airport making for an easy commute to the airport. Down side is there's no sound proofing, you hear every plane land as though it's inside the room and you hear every conversation in the hallway crystal clear
