Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Irving DFW Airport North

I booked this hotel based on the assumption that because it's brand new the service would be excellent as they would be trying to ensure guests are happy. Unfortunately this was not the case and when I arrived at the airport shuttle stop at 9:30pm I coud not get a hold of hotel via phone for the shuttle to pick me up. I tried calling 5 times and the person at the airport helping passengers called 3 times. I even tried contacting through the hilton app chat. Frustrated I decided it wasn't worth waiting more than an hour so I got an uber which cost $25usd. As the hotel is so new it would not show up on the uber driver's map (so be mindful of this). Thankfully we eventually found the hotel. Upon arrivial I mentioned to the front desk what had happend with the shuttle service and the response

Beautiful new hotel. Rooms were very nice. They do have a shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off at the airport. I believe the drivers name was Mark. Very helpful staff.

The room was clean, and affordable. The front desk was extremely friendly and really went above and beyond for us. We were helping our daughter check-in for a weekend stay during the upcoming ice storm (she needed to get closer to her work to avoid commuting an hour on icy roads), and they assisted us with early check-in, so she could get settled in before she had to go to work. They helped her with parking and shuttle info, and were just helpful all the way around. Would highly recommend this hotel.

What a great experience we had my wife wanted to thank Mark for helping her with luggage to our room.|He also helped us move our luggage to his shuttle van because our flight was at 2pm.

A few of my colleagues and I stayed at this hotel recently. The hotel is new and very clean. The rooms were spacious. I did not partake in the breakfast, however, the western omelets, sausage patties, and potatoes smelled amazing! The light roast coffee was the perfect temperature to sit and sip while I read emails and waited for my coworkers to join me and formulate our game plan to conquer the day.
