Hampton Inn & Suites Brookings

Misty, Marcy, and all the staff I encountered were phenomenal. Stayed here for a video project covering different hotel brands and their respective brand standards. I had not stayed at a Hilton property before, and I am quite impressed by everything I saw. Room was spotless and quite spacious I may add. While I was there to highlight some of their property’s amenities and features, I did pay for a room with my own money, and it was well worthwhile. Complimentary hot breakfast is on par with upscale hotels - Hyatt comes to mind- for selection and quality. Keep in mind, that this is an upper midscale hotel brand offering a similar hot complimentary breakfast to what a higher tier brand will offer their guests; what we have here is an incredible value for guests staying at this Hampton proper

This place really hit the mark! Clean rooms, comfy beds, and a friendly staff that actually seems happy to see you — that’s a win in my book. The breakfast was solid (bonus points for the waffles), and everything felt well taken care of. It’s got that easy, welcoming vibe that makes travel a little more relaxing. Definitely my go-to spot when I’m back in Brookings!

I stay at the Hampton Inn for a fairly inexpensive but always consistently clean and good experience. The one in Brookings is a perfect example of why. It is cozy and well run.

This hotel has very friendly staff. From the front desk to the people at the breakfast area. The rooms were clean and well maintained. I was happy to see that the hotel was not dated. Perhaps it just went through a recent renovation? My room was quiet and comfortable. There isn’t much around the hotel, other than other hotels and a couple of restaurants but if you go down the road a few miles there’s a lot more I mean this is South Dakota. What do you expect? The breakfast was good, overall no issues When I come back to the area I will stay here again and workout and swim. Boy do I need to workout.🤣

After working through the night then breaking down on the side of the road, we thought we weren’t going to be allowed to have our rooms. It was something like 4:30am when we finally got there. But they eventually let us in. The day staff kindly offered us a ride to O’Reillys when we told them we were having vehicle troubles. Which brought my original 1 star rating for service up to 5.
