Hampton Inn & Suites Albany-Downtown

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the essential amenities. The staff was professional, courteous, and always willing to assist with any request. The location was convenient, making it easy to access key areas in the city. Overall, it was a comfortable and hassle-free experience. I would recommend this hotel to both business and leisure travelers.

Enjoyed our stay. Hotel was clean, attractive. Buffet breakfast was much better than average, Plenty of fresh fruit. and toppings for oatmeal. including white chocolate chips , Yum ! Brasserie restaurant was great and even had gluten free sandwich rolls, Room was recently remodeled and bed was comfy.

We were incorrectly charged $12 for three cans of soda and told we had taken bottled drinks, which we did not. If we hadn’t noticed the charge, we would have overpaid for something we never took. That alone was frustrating and unacceptable. The room itself was also a problem. The heater was extremely loud and turned on and off throughout the night, constantly waking us up. It made getting any decent sleep nearly impossible. Breakfast was another disappointment. The boiled eggs were left sitting out on the counter, which didn’t feel sanitary or safe. Finally, we were told there was a swimming pool, but there is no pool at this location, which felt misleading. Between the incorrect charges, poor sleep, misleading amenities, and lack of attention to basic details, this stay was not worth it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Great Stay Thanks to Richard! We stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Albany for Parent Weekend at my son’s college. Hotels near campus were booked, so we chose this one about 15 minutes away, and it turned out great. Parking is valet only (it’s downtown, so that makes sense), and the valet staff was excellent—my car was always ready, and they never charged for parking. I just tipped them, and they were fantastic. At check-in, we met Richard at the front desk, and he’s the reason this review is five stars. He’s professional, friendly, and really goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. He reminded us about the complimentary breakfast (6–10 a.m.), which was very good. Every time we passed by, he greeted us with a smile and asked how our stay was going. The roo

before I went to bed I confirmed with Angelica that I had a 30$ credit on my account. when I woke up in the morning and went to check out, Sidik explained that it was not there because it was an overage vs a credit. I pulled my folio from the other Hilton I stayed in literally the night prior and showed him that it should be a -30$. only upon contacting corporate did I find out that the $30 food and beverage credit is typically reserved for higher end hotels. However this still did not satisfy the fact that I was let as stray the evening prior. Obviously I would not have used the valet service or gotten two starburst packets. Hilton corporate decided to link me directly back in by phone with Sidik who became extraordinarily disrespectful and started yelling at me on the phone. I had to exp
