Hampton Inn Portland-Airport

We stay here every time we fly out of PDX. Breakfast is included and always fresh . The staff is always friendly and efficient. The rooms roomy and very clean. Nice beds quiet even tho it is close to the airport. Gym is full of the necessary equipment and roomy pool is available in the warm weather, unless you are a Penquin. And lastly a big point for us, 24 hour service to the airport coming or going. Best place to stay at the airport

Room was nice, clean, and comfortable. But we had to walk next door to the neighboring hotel for dinner. Normally not a problem, but one of our group had trouble walking even that far. Staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty for breakfast, but the bacon was definitely undercooked, and the scrambled eggs were cold. I think the serving container could have been heated up a bit. But we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Five-Star Experience — Exceptional Manager and Outstanding Care I recently had an experience with the Portland Hampton Inn that truly deserves recognition. Their manager, Teresa, has been nothing short of incredible. She went above and beyond to take care of my family during our stay, and her kindness made a stressful situation so much easier. Due to a flight cancellation, I wasn’t able to make the trip myself, and Teresa took it upon herself to keep an eye on my son and my mum while they were there. Knowing they were in such good hands brought me so much peace of mind. We also had some issues with package deliveries at the beginning of the trip, and Teresa personally followed up multiple times with the delivery services to make sure everything was sorted out. The condition of the guest rooms was disappointing. In the bathroom, the ceiling is visibly deteriorating, with panels separating and showing signs of disrepair. Soundproofing is extremely poor—you can clearly hear conversations and activity from the adjacent room, which significantly affects privacy and sleep. For an airport hotel, where rest during a layover is especially important, this is a serious drawback. On the positive side, the location is excellent, and the property itself has notable strengths. The hotel offers a large banquet and event space with an almost expo-level footprint, making it well suited for conferences or professional events. Visually, these areas present very well.
