Hampton Inn Omaha West-Lakeside

The people were nice and the breakfast is great. Nice lobby with inviting fireplace. Unfortunately, our air conditioner didn't kick on when it should and we were hot all night. The "hot" tub was not hot. More like a semi-warm bath. Overall a nice place. Pet friendly, thankfully, amd offered to-go breakfast bags which I dont see very often. I liked that feature.

Toilet keep running, called the front desk and told them about the issue and they said they would fix it and they did not, it was so annoying, had problems with the tv as well,

BEWARE!!!NOXIOUS POSSIBLY TOXIC FUMES FROM POOL REMODELING! STAY ELSEWHERE! I couldn’t breathe eyes and throat were burning was overcome with nausea and a headache. I wasn’t the only guest who left because of the fumes. |01/17/2026

Room, location, and service was great. The room was huge. This was actually a Christmas present from my sister. "24 hours kid free" Breakfast was also great. Sooo many options! Only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 was because the hot tub was down and the actual pool was freezing. We were really looking forwards to relaxing in the hot tub.

While this hotel was not perfect it was really trying. We were greeted in a friendly manner w all the staff being kind and professional our entire stay. Surprisingly, (first time such an occurrence for us) the staff texted us to make sure everything was ok which opened a great communication dialogue in case we had any needs. Another first was that we noticed was, plenty of staff doing walk arounds and working on little projects. It is nice to see this and know that they care about fixing things and improving on what's already a good thing, making it a great thing. The room was clean, spacious and modern. We used the hot tub and while it could have been a tiny bit warmer, it and the pool were clean, spacious and modern as well. The breakfast/daily to go bags were appreciated and helpful.
