Hampton Inn Geneva

The location of this hotel is excellent. Just across the road is the Finger Lakes Welcome Center. If you walk along the lakeside, you can enjoy very beautiful views. Walking uphill for about three to five minutes will bring you to the center of the small town. The hot pool is also very comfortable. After a day of traveling, relaxing in the hot pool feels wonderful.The breakfast was very good. The staffs provided the good service, especially a young lady (Kuchi))was especially friendly and attentive. We had a very pleasant stay overall.

My first time staying at Hampton Inn Geneva NY. It will not be the last time and I have already shared this with several friends. A surprising and wonderful find, discovered late at night, traveling too long, and ready for rest. Mike and his team were so welcoming and everything was so convenient. Parking, proximity to small town amenities and the welcome center for the Finger Lakes region. A perfect mid-point location for my drive from Cambridge Ma to Port Huron Mi. Thank you 🙏

First night of our vacation to the Finger Lakes and we rolled in to this hotel after dark. Since it was a Hampton our expectations were fairly high. But quite simply put, this place is worn out. |The "view" of the lake is pretty hard to see and the breakfast is the same tired fare that Hampton is serving at every one of their hotels. |Save your money and look elsewhere.

Positive: Location on Seneca Lake, NY Negative: This quality of this hotel has gone down since summer 2024. Our room (107) was musty and wet and had a funky odor. We had requested a room on 3rd floor which they did not give to us. The shower was well overdue for a replacement.

We visited just after New Year's (last week) and the town was very quiet with students still gone and off-season wine tasting. The hotel was completely dark when we arrived at 11pm and we woke the desk attendant eventually. We settled into our rooms and in the morning found the water in the bathtub to be jet brown. The front desk agent did concede to offering us a bottle of water each, noting that she was so gracious despite our lacking of elite Diamond Club status. No further discount, etc. could be offered because "only the manager can do that" and they were not on-site, and have not been able to return a call or email in the past week. Photo below. Breakfast was assembled with the same manner of care as the plumbing. Did they water down the waffle mix with that same brown stuff?
