Positive: Location Negative: Room was dirty. Rust stains everywhere on the tub. Shower curtain too short and water gets everywhere. Floor are dirty. Carpet sticky and not clean. Only one elevator was working the whole 4 days. Window covered with feathers and spiders.

The location on the lake is beautiful. The rooms and facility have seen a lot of wear. Elevator is out of service and the pool closed for maintenance, both apparently for a long time according to locals. One staff said we could cross street to use pool at hampton inn if we showed our room key. They said the hotels had an agreement. |Our room had pink mold on bathroom ceiling and rust in tub. There was no housekeeping until our 3rd day on premises. If we wanted towels, we had to go to front desk and get them ourselves. There was not even trash or dirty laundry pick up from rooms. I saw some people were putting dirty linens and trash out in hallways. This seems very unsanitary and likely to draw vermin. Really like this place. Have a soft spot for it, because I stayed here in 2012 when on the job interview visit (it was Ramada then). Have stayed again since then, last time in October. The room was large and neat, the service was lowkey and great. The place is pet-friendly, with ample parking. Most importantly, it's really walking distance to downtown, so I can go catch a meal, but it's also on the water path so perfect for walking the dog. And whenever I've had to change reservations with them or cancel, they've always been super helpful.

My wife and I have stayed at this property many times over the last 2 years. The location is extraordinary but the hotel itself needs updates. The rooms are comfortable but we've experienced bathroom drain backups, no heat in the room, rusty bathroom fixtures. The women at the front desk are stoic, the rest of the staff is friendly and helpful. I'm thinking we will have to find a different property in the Finger Lakes region in the future.

My fiance works out of town for the week and he’s been there for the past few weeks in a row and the water is never hot or warm it’s cold when it’s all the way on hot. An he’d enjoy a warm shower after working in the cold all day and a warm room. The heat don’t seem to work when it’s cold. They’ll move you to a different room and that heat don’t work. The toilets leak all over the bathroom. No trash cans for garbage. Highly do not recommend.
