Greydon House

Perfect location in downtown Nantucket. Easy walking distance to Main Street shopping, Whaling Museom (right next door), Maria Mitchell Aquarium, Children’s Beach, Brotherhood of Thieves (also right next door), and free buses that go all over the island. ||Staff was great — personable and welcoming. They were attentive and accommodating. ||Room 17 was charming and well appointed. The bed linens were excellent quality and the en suite was small but all we needed for two of us. The hand painted tile in the shower was a lovely touch. ||Overall would definitely recommend and will make this a staple for us when we visit the island.

My husband and I go to Nantucket every year, and this was our first time at Greydon House; it was my favorite stay thus far on the island. Charming rooms, fantastic location and a chic restaurant on site. Tom, the manager (sorry if I messed the name up), could not have been nicer or more obliging, and was extremely knowledgeable about the island. Front desk team was very helpful as well. This will be my go to stay on Nantucket!

As someone who takes pride in choosing thoughtful, high-quality accommodations when traveling, I can confidently say that Greydon House in Nantucket exceeded expectations. Located right in the heart of downtown, it was the perfect choice for a weekend stay. I specifically wanted to be close to the Steamship Authority ferry, great restaurants, and downtown shopping—and this location delivered on all fronts. From the moment we checked in, we were warmly welcomed by friendly staff and a personable, attentive manager who set the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. The location couldn’t be more convenient: a three-minute walk to one of the best lobster rolls you’ll ever have at Walter’s, a charming coffee and pastry shop directly across the street, and the Whaling Museum just steps away. Great location however staff quite unfriendly. The dozens of times I walked past the intimate front desk, I was never even greeted with a smile or a simple hello. and found that to be true in their restaurant too. ||The Garden level rooms need more lighting even though they have two small windows. Garden level rooms need wifi booster and smart TV’s would be a good upgrade - just add roku sticks !

John was amazing to work with! Truly such a nice guy and so accommodating! We will definitely visit again soon!
