Greenwood Motel

My fiance and I went to the Greenwood Motel to try and get a room for the night and service was horrible. I had to wait 10 minutes on the lady to come to the window. When she finally did and told me she had rooms available she asked how many people would be staying. When I told her just my fiance and myself she made me go get him out of our vehicle to prove it was just us. Then she refused us a room at all saying the last time we stayed we had too much trash and the room was too messy which is total bs. We personally clean up everytime we get a room making sure all trash is bagged up by the door any dirty linens are together in the bathroom etc. So that being said she was very rude and out of line refusing us a room.

Was just bought out by new management. They did renovate the room slightly but it's still a pretty raggedy place to stay. I do not recommend staying here at all.

Rooms: they had roaches and smell like cigarettes, the towels were dirty and it looked like they just made the bed and that was the only maintenance they did to the room. Since all the rooms face the highway, you can imagine the noise and the light due to traffic... The front desk representative was always very kind, clear and open to answer any questions we could have.

The motel is decent. I liked my visit there. You also have friendly people around you that like to chat. Also there is a gas station right across the hotel if you want gas, snack, food, or drinks. It is also a seafood place across the street too. The motel is located on Montague Ave it also has a small plaza near by if you want to shop or get your nails done.

They redone the place and they did a great job. Before they was very run down. Not anymore. There is the basic issues you find at every hotel. But there service and rooms are 10× better.
