Comfort Inn & Suites Greenwood near University

The low service rating is due to policies and how this hotel is ran. The young lady at the front desk was great. The rooms are old and dreary. The deposit is excessive and if you use hotel engine, be prepared to have to call their support and get your payment fixed at check in. I was told this happens nearly every time with hotel engine. You may want to pick a different spot.

This hotel is always my go to when I’m in this area. The staff are all so extremely nice and helpful. They make you feel like family. Rooms are clean and freshened up every day. The breakfast is very nice.

Initially, I was put on the second floor. The second floor was under construction it was a total mess. Then I was assigned to the first floor. Mold on the ceilings. The phone in the room didn't work. When I asked for extra towels they refused to give me any unless I had dirty towels to exchange. Horrible stay. I would never recommend this to anyone that I know.

We were never able to access the internet the three nights of our stay. My granddaughter had school work that she was not able to complete because of the total lack of internet. I went to the front desk twice the night we arrived and the receptionist said she knew nothing about why the computer and two different iPhones didn’t pull up the Choice Hotel prompt that would enable us to put in my name, room number and password. It was implied that our phones and computer were the problem, as she had a Samsung and it pulled up the information without any problem! When I mentioned this problem to the receptionist as I was checking out I was told, I should have come back to the reception desk again. My boyfriend and I stayed here this past weekend and we loved it! We just needed a one night stay somewhere affordable because he plays football at Erskine College and I was visiting for the weekend. Carolina was very nice and helpful and our room was very clean! We will definitely be staying here again!
