Global Luxury Suites Downtown Jersey City

Perfect Spot to visit because it's a good scenery to watch especially if you want to know your history and roots too...I love jersey city to the death

What a Wonderful Property!||||I have stayed in similar places in the UK, South Korea and Ireland to name a few, so I was looking forward to see how Global Luxury Hotels would stack up against the other apartment style hotels. I must say I was very impressed, the view of both of the NYC Skyline and Lady Liberty were worth every penny. The attendants were very helpful and the check-in and check-out was seamless. ||The apartment was “gently worn” but it was well cleaned and very modern, and the living space was wide and open. The bedrooms were comfortable and even the two futon couches were comfy, the place can easily accompany 6 people. ||||This hotel stay was the beginning of our mothers holiday, all of the other hotels and suites after this were compared to our stay with Global Luxury Suit

The furniture was of very poor quality and damaged. We are almost 20 days into our stay, despite repeated complaints, nobody takes any action. we may end up with damaged back because of the poor quality of couch and other furniture provided. very cheap quality for premium pricing

The property is very nice. If you haven't stayed at a Global Luxury Suite before (like me prior to this visit), the check in was a little confusing. Global Luxury Suite has suites in buildings that are residences. The check in office isn't open at all hours like a typical hotel, but if you are after those hours, the front desk of your building has your keys. Parking could be done through the building you are in (which required a check or money order only!) or through GLS which would have been in a different building. Once we got things situated, the stay was great. Building had a very nice pool that had a view of the Manhattan skyline. We needed some extra blankets, which were brought up promptly. My wife and I thought this would be a good alternative to staying in Manhattan and the price seemed really good - $88 / night. Wow! - Except, there is a $60 / night resort fee that they add that was in a font much smaller than the advertised rate. My wife immediately noticed the unexpected additional fee and tried to cancel, but they insisted that the reservation could not be cancelled. The property is in a desirable location and the amenities were okay. We did have a problem with the one air conditioning unit that was making a whirring sound - finally was replaced at about midnight. Oh, parking is an additional $20 / day.
