Gilded

The Gilded was a beautiful hotel with an vintage feel. The rooms were gorgeous with hardwood floors and antique furniture. The bed was super comfortable and the shower (though a bit small) was great for temperature and pressure. Katey was so warm and engaging when we arrived. She made sure to show us around and give us fresh hot homemade chocolate chip cookies! Though we were there for the off season (Black Friday) the hotel had some guests but Newport was still alive. We would definitely come back next year. Also parking is in the back of the building which was so great. We walked everywhere even though it was chilly because the nightlife was so close.

My husband and I spent a weekend here and it was lovely. Such a unique building, the room was great(fireplace was an extra awesome touch). The people working there were great-Peter and Katey were super helpful. About a 10 min walk to downtown. Breakfast in the morning was tasty and the available parking was very nice. Would love to stay again the next time we are in Newport.

What an amazing stay at The Gilded! A hidden gem in our opinion. Beautiful, clean and comfortable. Katie was so friendly and helpful-an absolute pleasure. Hotel location was perfect for walking around and having parking available for guests was great. Very quiet block. Beautiful breakfast in the mornings. Will definitely be staying again!

We so enjoyed our stay at Gilded. First of all, the ladies at Gilded are tops in providing excellent service. From prior to check-in through the end of our stay, they ensured we had a great stay. Additionally, the breakfasts were delicious and the options plentious. Our room was large and comfortable. The location was within about 10 minutes of everything we wanted to do while also being quiet. My only wishes - provide self-serve coffee options for early risers and maybe some board games for when people might want to stay in for the evening (or when the tropical storm comes through).

I can’t say enough great praises for the Gilded hotel. It is the most beautiful little hotel with a bed and breakfast feel. The staff was the best staff we have ever come across in all our world travels. The accommodations were so quant and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. I can’t say enough about the fantastic breakfast each morning as well. We loved how the main dish changed daily but the yummy staples stayed the same. From healthy nutritious options to some yummy cheat day vacation treats and the amazing complimentary home made cookies!!! Yummmmmmmmmmm. We will be back for sure!!
