Gaslight Motel

Clean, quaint, neat location, lovely owners, easy walk to the beach, all around great area to check out and stay at the Gaslight Motel in Dennis on Cape Cod. We had a really nice, relaxing, safe stay. The motel’s balcony is like sitting on your back porch at night but being steps away from the ocean. Better rates than any other accommodations nearby, during peak season, no less! Not on the beach but literally right across the street. Thanks to Beverly at the rest stop on our way into the Cape, who recommended this motel, she’s was right! Just the place we needed for a 3day, easy breezy weekend. We love the Gaslight. We go every summer, sometimes twice if we can. It is a simple place that has everything you need! We like to bring sandwich makings and the room has a small fridge to keep everything cold. After a hot day on the beach the A/C keeps us cool. If you get a rainy day we like sitting right outside our door in the chairs which are under cover. The location is perfect, a very short walk to the beach and one of our favorite restaurants. The owners are very sweet and we love the homemade coffee they put out every morning. We are looking forward to our next visit! We recommend the Gaslight Motel!

I had a great experience here. Perfect weekend. Sonya was super sweet. She always asked if we wanted extra towels. The location is a 2.5 min walk to the beach. There is a path directly across the street. The rooms are a bit outdated but it didn’t matter to me. What mattered was them being clean, and it was immaculate. There is an ice machine downstairs. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. I loved the sitting on the deck at night. I will definitely be going back. Especially for the price.

We planned to stay four nights but extended to six nights. Very clean, free coffee in the morning, and very kind and helpful owners. Our seven and nine year olds very much enjoyed the beach, which is just around the corner and the motel is ideally located for day trips exploring the cape. Next time we cross the Atlantic, we’ll stop by again.
