Garden Plaza Hotel

I was here in 2022 The coolest part is rooms have sliding door access to the huge indoor pool layout with a jacuzzi and tiki bar, really impressive! Staff was East Indian, down to earth people (just don’t be snobby and picky with them)😌. The place could use some cosmetic work, old school TV’s and dressers but nice roomy bathrooms and nice hot water. If you like water works, it’s worth it! If you’re looking for contemporary amenities, don’t come here, high ceilings with chandelier and old clocks in the lobby. Rather nostalgic, but comfortable. 🙏

2016 I’ve never stayed in this place. I gave a person ride to here because they didn’t have transportation while in the area. The parking lot needs some new paint and the rooms(from my vehicle)looks as though it needs a bit of work. The front desk needs to be updated and refreshed.

We stayed here for a weekend in town. Will never come back. The staff at check in was extremely rude to my husband, he was leaving the deposit in cash and the lady was trying to refuse to give him a receipt for the cash, then when I arrived a few hours later to complete the check in process I was asked for a deposit. I had to remind them about the cash deposit and that we had proof that thankfully my husband argued and demanded they give him. There was actually no free breakfast as stated when we reserved our rooms. Not enough towels in the rooms. Then on check out I ended up with that same rude lady, I ended up arguing with her at check out about the way she treated my husband during the check in. The beds were uncomfortable, I actually stayed in this hotel back when it was the Clarion

I was a little skeptical about staying here after reading reviews and the past of the hotel..decided to give it a shot..glad I did! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel hasn't been re-opened long so it still has a few kinks to work out but overall I was very impressed on how I was treated and was explained the conditions beforehand. The pool was amazing, I went for the lower level sweet with a jacuzzi tub and my bathroom was like a sauna. It was a very relaxing night I must say. The place needs a little TLC but if you can get past that aspect you will enjoy your stay. I WILL definitely be staying here again!!

The pool was the main reason we booked this place. But it was not heated so it was extremely cold! The bedding needs to be updated. The top cover had a random red spot. The bathroom looked nice but was moldy on the ceiling and some parts around the tub and curtains. The free breakfast was weird. They had eggs that tasted horrible. Waffles were good. And cereal, oJ and milk. They just need to fix a few mini things and this place will be great!
