Flora Motel-Dallas

I have stayed at the Flora a few times before this stay and was not that impressed. It was run down, as virtually any other hotel in that stretch of ft worth avenue in the wastelands of West Dallas (sorry WD). So I didn't expect all of their problems to be fixed upon going back... I needed a place to stay and it is priced CLOSE to the lowest (never do the lowest) and is in a great spot for someone that works in West Dallas and uses dart to get around. The last time I had stayed here it hadn't ended well. I'll leave it at that. So I had some trepidation upon my return. To my relief, there was seemingly a new group of people running the Flora. Very nasty full of roaches so gross never stay there I will be speaking with corporate and better business bureau we paid for a night but couldn’t stay there it was to nasty and couldn’t get a refund I will be contacting someone to get this place shut down it’s unsanitary I can’t believe it’s still in business!!!

THE WORST MOTEL EVER! The owner/manager is EXTREMELY rude and disgusting. I went over there to pick someone up and as I was waiting in my car with my kids the owner walked up to my car and tried to open my car door where my daughter was sitting and my husband asked him what the hell he was doing and he started talking crazy to us and went inside his office and pulled out a weapon on my husband, kids and I !!!! He threw a huge metal pole inside of our car almost hitting my husbands face with it!!! And then some black lady who was being nosey was blocking us in and would not move out of my way so that I could leave. She tried to put her hands on me even though I told her I have my kids in the car and she proceeds to say “ idgaf if she had kids” as I squeezed my car through a tight spot to be

The price was affordable and management was very direct with necessities. Some things just can't be overlooked such as the poor patching of the entry door that was kicked in and unprofessional slapped back together. You had to aggressively open or shut the door. Every blemish was just painted over. But the shower was nice with the new tile. Very spacious room and quiet setting with a bubbly bed which was comfortable. I guess it depends what your looking for. If your looking to sleep good and not worried about what's gone on in the room in the past. Then this is your room. My necessities we're met and i was ok with that.

They have updated the rooms. For the price that they're asking it is above standard compared to what is I've seen on that side of town. No roaches. Refrigerator, microwave, flat screen television, comfortable bed. Most bathrooms are equipped with shower only. They do have some with a nice sized step up tub. It's usually pretty quiet. They also offer weekly rates. I'm a regular customer when I'm on that side of Dallas.
