This was an amazing backcountry campsite. Cooking area had a bear pole and large firepit right next to the waterfall. Tent sites were located on the hill just above. The climb wasn't awesome after hiking 11 miles in, but it was both super practical (a protected site far above the food and fire in case of wandering bears) and soothing (with the sounds of the waterfall below all night). I'd love to camp here again!
Simply amazing
spektakulär - viele Tiere - Bison, Grizzlys, Wölfe, Coyoten, Elks (Wapiti). Es gibt mehrere Unterkünfte, am besten hat uns die Lodge am Old Faithful gefallen, sie ist aber regelmäßig ausgebucht. Vorsicht ist auf den Parkplätzen im National Park angesagt. Professionelle Diebesbanden räumen die Fahrzeuge der Touristen aus wenn sie nicht verschlossen sind und Tiere beobachten.
