Fairmont Austin

We stayed for a weekend getaway as part of the Chase Sapphire Reserve The Edit stays. The hotel was beautiful, in a great location, and had all the amenities we could need. Lots of dining options on site - and the food was fabulous all around! ||||Our only complaint was the shower temperature fluctuated rapidly (very hot to ice cold) while showering and required frequent adjustments to maintain a comfortable temperature. Very reminiscent of old homes when someone used water elsewhere in the house and it would affect the shower temperature. We would not have expected this type of issue in such a nice hotel. Aside from that, we had no other complaints!

Hotel is in a nicer location. Very friendly, welcoming staff. Lobby & on-site restaurants are beautiful and food was great. Hotel room, halls and decor were very dates. Our room had stained, threadbare carpets. Old furniture. Bad smell. Bed was comfortable with amazing views.

I had a wonderful experience at the Fairmont Hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything felt welcoming and well-organized. Seda, who checked me in, was especially outstanding — professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive. She made the process smooth and stress-free, which set the tone for the rest of my stay. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The overall service, atmosphere, and attention to detail truly reflect the quality you expect from a luxury hotel. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Staff welcomed me professionally and warmly after a very long journey. The view from my room was very nice, and I appreciated the hotel's focus on sustainability. It would be helpful to have water more readily available. The small cartons were helpful, but I didn't always know where I could pick them up. Enjoyed the location, close to good walking paths, cafes, bars, and restaurants.
