Fairfield Inn Portsmouth Seacoast

Do not stay here. It was a last minute booking, and for $405 I was not happy. The bathroom floor was sticky and had footprints left from previous guest (?) housekeeping (?).The comforter was dirty and the sheets were not crisp or clean looking/feeling. As soon as you enter the building you can see it’s not clean. The only good thing I can say is the front desk people were pleasant, the room was very quiet, the mattress was comfortable. Thankfully we only stayed one night. The following night we stayed at a beautiful resort on the ocean in Ogunquit for less than half the price. Marriott needs to do better.

I have stayed at the Fairfield Inn Portsmouth quite a few times in the past 2 years. Each room as been clean and comfortable although a little smaller than what I am used to. The breakfast tends to be a little better than the standard hotel free breakfast and I get a kick out of the breakfast buffet attendant, Ann. She is quite the character. Great property all around and I am looking forward to my future visits.

We had to leave our house due to furnace issues. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a warm friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast options were great! We asked for an upgrade the second night, and received a bigger room. So thankful for that! Would recommend and stay again if needed. They also offered a shuttle service to downtown which is great for out of towners.

I have to start by saying Adrianna in housekeeping is an absolute angel! You are so lucky if you meet her, she's kind, patient, so helpful and accommodating and I wish I could put her in my luggage and take her home with me so we could be bestie. All of the front desk staff are very kind and as accommodating as possible, the best customer service I have ever seen is here. The rooms are okay, nothing special honestly but not bad. Location is good if you have a car.

Location is a little off the beaten path, so you need to follow directions closely to arrive at this Fairfield. This facility is quite dated as you will first realize when riding on the elevator to the upper levels. I was somewhat disappointed in the location of our room being directly across from the ice machine and two doors down from the elevator (we had requested a room not near these items). I asked if we could be moved, but nothing available for our check-in days as they were fully booked. As for the room, again quite dated with some areas needing attention. Notice the bathroom vent and the nice view from our window (pictures attached). Breakfast options were acceptable, but nothing to get excited about. Overall was not pleased with this Fairfield stay.
