Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Springfield North

This team is fantastic!!!!! Customer service is top notch and the hotel itself is very nice, modern and clean. I accidentally left behind an electronic device after my stay and the team kept it safe for me for a month until I could make my way back through Springfield to pick it up. They even offered to ship it to me if that would have been more convenient for me. Great property, even better team. Thanks for going above and beyond!

Hotel was fine for one night. Room was clean and large size. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good and yes there were warm items. Eggs, sausage, waffles. Fruit etc.|Coffe was ready at 530 am. There is a nice little gas fire pit out back with sitting for quest. Parking is good with security that drives thru the lot.||The room had a mic, refrigerator and coffee maker with coffee. Nice work desk area. ||Only issue I had was the people above me with kids running around on top of my ceiling. The toilet style ran all night too. But a good sleeping pill took care of this. ||Only gave it four stars due to when I tried to check in at 3pm. I stood there for over 10 minutes waiting for someone to appear that worked the desk. This Fairfield hotel single-handedly broke my trust and confidence in the Fairfield brand. As a titanium member with Marriott I stay in these hotels when on the road and always had good experiences. I asked for the complimentary water bottles that always come with titanium status check in and I was told that this Fairfield is owned by someone else and they don’t participate in the free water program. This wouldn’t be a problem if I didn’t come to expect certain treatment from this brand. They also had a terrible breakfast in the morning and no Kleenex in the room. It’s obvious the owners are cheap and they should be required to change the name so they don’t fool people like me who have learned to trust this name. Check in staff was pleasant. Hotel was clean. Pool area was nice and clean and we had it to ourselves for quite a while. Pool towels are tiny so you may want to bring your own beach towel if you’re an adult and plan to swim. Also it was very hot in the pool room so if you won’t be swimming dress in cooler attire. Room was clean for the most part. Sheet had a stain on it that we didn’t notice until it was late and time to sleep. The AC would not stay on no matter what we did. We called the front desk and they said they’d adjust it on their end but it never got cooler than 74 which was way too hot for us.
