Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Kinston

I’m a platinum bonvoy member and stay at Marriott hotels dozens of nights a year. This Fairfield Inn is AWESOME. It was my 3rd stay here, on a long road trip down south.⭐ PROS: rooms are modern, clean, quiet and comfortable. Very comfortable king bed, nice shower and bath, and a nice big TV. SUPER COZY! The free breakfast was also pretty good for a Fairfield, and we appreciated the variety (e.g. bacon, blueberrry bagels) and also the fresh fruit options. 🍊🍓 Also loved the fact that the room had both a mini-fridge, and microwave, this is important to some people. CONS: nothing really, I struggled to find any faults with this hotel, and I consider myself a very picky person. All in all, it was an amazing stay for me and my partner, and we would gladly keep returning.

Location was convenient for what I wanted to do. Room was clean. Breakfast staff lacked customer service skills and displayed bad attitudes. Male employee in breakfast area and his girlfriend need different occupations. Neither are friendly and lacked service skills. Front desk clerk Gabby was outstanding, so was Camilla and Ms. Joyce who made sure I had what I needed.

My stay at this Marriott presented a stark contrast. The physical aspects of the hotel are exceptional. The architecture is luxurious, the rooms are beautifully appointed with modern furnishings, and the entire property is impeccably clean. The restaurant staff were also a highlight—polite, efficient, and highly professional.

Room was clean. Gym and heated pool are nice. The breakfast options were great shoutout to Joyce the chef. Quiche, grits, and turkey sausage were pleasant surprises. I’ll be staying here when I come back next month.
