Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Indianapolis Plainfield

Great choice again. A Fairfield has never failed me yet. No matter whether I stay at an older or newer location I always have a positive experience. As soon as you enter the doors it smells like fresh laundry. Just a nice and airy feeling. I did not get the ick I usually get when staying at other hotels. You can tell the staff takes pride in making sure the hotel is up to standard. The breakfast was pretty simple, oatmeal with several toppings, eggs, sausage, bagels, muffins yogurt etc. I’m in town for a softball game at IU Bloomington. I was a little disappointed there were no hotels available this weekend in Bloomington but staying here made the 45 minute drive worth it.

I had a minor issue when staying at this hotel and raised it with the duty manager. The next day as I was leaving she practically chased me down in the parking lot to explain what had happened, apologize again, explain the resolution. It was some outstanding and rare customer service and was above and beyond what I expected. ||Overall the stay was pleasant, the hotel was comfortable and convenient for my business trip. Would certainly stay again if I’m in the area.

We stayed at the Fairfield by Marriot this last weekend. The hotel was very clean, the staff super friendly and it was quiet throughout the stay. Definitely recommend, next time we're in town we will go there again. We also went to Stacks restaurant across the street for breakfast and there was a 24/hour gas station right at the corner, everything was super convenient.

Overall not terrible, worked for what we needed and the room was clean, but the bed was super hard and uncomfortable and even worse was that the whole time we were there, the Wi-Fi did not work and both TVs were so slow it was nearly impossible to even use. The only thing that made this 3 stars instead of 2 was the airport shuttle was nice and the price was good
