Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Houston Humble

Employees and service were very good. When we booked stated had a pool. When we arrived they didnt have a pool anymore. The place had construction going on , water would be turned on and off during the day for work. Our room had 2 working outlets . If sure once construction is finished it will be better but for now our stay wasnt very good.

Front desk staff was not friendly. They didn’t greet us when we walked through the Lobby.||We stayed for 3 nights and never received housekeeping service. When we submitted requests for toilet paper and towels it took hours for them to arrive at our door. ||This hotel is good if you don’t expect to be wow’d or expect personalized service. It’s a place to sleep.

Positive: location, clean, excellent breakfast Negative: no daily room service, bed and pillows were uncomfortable, bathtub needed anti-slip material.

We did an overnight here when in town. I will say that both front desk folks we encountered were very nice, especially the tall guy that checked us in. I can’t believe this is a Marriott brand lol. This hotel is ROUGH. They are doing renovations so maybe it’ll get better. The lobby looks great but the hallways and rooms are not in good condition. The elevator is shaky, we avoided using it after the first ride up. It’s also missing a light cover which I see referenced in a review from 4 months ago so that’s wild. The room smelled musty immediately when we walked in. Our window drapes and duvets had awful stains. They didn’t give enough towels or wash cloths for a 4-sleeper room. The bathtub was all rusted and needs a caulk BADLY. It’s also right next to a busy highway so the road noise was

Employees were all amazing. The condition of the building is poor. Elevator is terrifying. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. We found a roach crawling on one of us in the room. The breakfast was okay. It lacked a lot. However the lady and and the man working there was very kind, welcoming and a joy to be around.
