Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Forrest City

This hotel chain never seems to disappoint. This is the second Fairfield Marriott we’ve stayed at in just two days, and we couldn’t be happier. The room was beautifully appointed, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We were greeted immediately upon arrival by two genuinely lovely ladies, which made us feel very welcome. The front entrance and hotel sitting area looked absolutely stunning, with beautiful furniture and complimentary refreshments. The free breakfast was amazing, with so many choices available — something for everyone. Just as a side note, dogs are welcome!! This is exactly why we continue to choose this hotel chain — the consistency is always there. This location is brand new, and it truly shows.

12/27/2025. Multiple Tesla super charger in front. We checked in on sight at midnight . You can feel the newness and they are still working out kinks. Example our room the shower exhaust did not work and the bottom of tub spicket has not been siliconed from the miss drill(see photos). But I appreciate the hanging closet space and also draws. The breakfast was a good, a typical waffle maker, yogurt , juice bar , instant eggs and sausage. The muffins were surpriny well. The eating area is laid out odd the coffee is hidden to another area. It is more expensive, but it is new and clean. As a person with allergies, I was disappointed to see a big Great Dane come into the hotel. Maybe they have special floor for contamination.

Our family stayed here last night. At 7 AM I walked down to a modern clean lobby to get coffee and the guy setting up breakfast smiled joyfully “Good morning sir!” He said, “I hope you love the breakfast this morning!” The family came down and ate like kings! We ate quiche, fluffy eggs, five star sausage and coffee and juice and cereal. He had put out an entire buffet. Came over and talked to us at our table and once again I cannot read this employee high enough. We walked out talking about his beautiful spirit! I wish I would’ve got his name he had long dreadlocks And making sure that they were happy during breakfast hour. I’ve been staying here a couple of nights a week for the past two months and housekeeping is still subpar. I understand when I first started staying that it was a brand new hotel and staff was being trained, so I was patient but this past week was the worst. The bathroom was dirty, the soap bar was opened and used, there was a dirty towel on the floor and they obviously didn’t vacuum. I spoke to two women at the front desk who took my name and number and told me they would notify management. Until this day nobody has talked to me or resolved anything. Breakfast has gotten better, but it’s inconsistent. Sometimes they have oatmeal sometimes they don’t. Other mornings they don’t have coffee.

House keeping as poor. All surfaces were dirty- cola or Coffee spill in foyer, cookie crumbs and hair on desk, toothpaste/scope in sink, dog food on carpet. Oh and NO hand soap. We’re coming back through this town on our return trip but will choose a different hotel. Front desk state breakfast was at 6 multiple times. However the following morning it was clear visually and verbally it was 6:30. Hotel was otherwise fine. Beds are hard. Towels are new.
