Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Dallas DFW Airport South/Irving

Bug infested!!!! I checked in, and within a few hours, I found TONS of bugs crawling on the wall near the window/air conditioner. I took a video which clearly shows the infestation; the photos don’t do it justice. I promptly asked the front desk to move me to an alternate room. While they did do so, they didn’t even apologize or ask for any specifics so they could address the problem (it’s in room 107, by the way). This hotel needs to address its cleanliness problem and teach staff how to better deal with these sorts of situations.

The girl that pick us up was very kind and very helpful the whole time, she also took care of us at the front desk. We really enjoy our stay, definitely the service has a lot to do for a person to enjoy and be comfortable or to have s bad experience. We really enjoy staying, the room was very nice, comfortable and clean

Positive: I picked the hotel because it has a 24 hour shuttle. (Both shuttle drivers and the front desk lady were very nice people, this hotel is just grossly understaffed so I wouldn?t recommend staying if you have a short turn around like we did) Negative: It took almost 2 hours to get picked up and get our rooms. The hotel only had one staff member (she was SUPER nice), so we had to wait almost an hour to get our room. Also, the shuttle took an hour to pick us up and get us to the hotel.

Front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly. A/C in the rooms and hallways were nice and cold after hanging outside by the pool! Our family had a great stay. We’ll definitely stay here again. Thanks to both morning/evening drivers for awesome shuttle service.

Nice free breakfast in the morning. Other guest are very friendly. Some of the desk and cleaning people were not smiling much so it didn’t feel welcoming at times. Rooms were nice, wish TVs had Roku for more family friendly old shows
