Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Boston Waltham

We had a fantastic time at the Fairfield Inn & Suites. The lobby was great, the room was clean and the bed was comforter with wonderful pillows and a comfy comforter. The room size was perfect. The bathrooms were nice and new. But the highlight of our trip was the lobby bar and restaurant with Louis as MC, host and bartender. He was so warm and invited us over and offered us an incredible array of drinks, beer and wine. I had an incredible rose. My salad was delicious and soon there was a fun and lively crowd at the bar. Everyone was talking to one another and all of the seats were full. Louis gave us snacks and water while we waited for our drinks and food. He is really special and gave us a 5 star visit. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat if I am in the area. And cheers to Lo

I stay at location on a routine basis. Elmer is incredible at the front desk. He knows how to take care of repeat customers and could be working at a 5 Star hotel. Great attention to detail, extremely curtious and engaged. I also really appreciate Donna and Louis at the bar. They do a great job catering to customers and engaging. They serve good drinks and most of the food is good (burger could be better). Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Recommend staying on the road side vs. Highway if you are bothered by highway noise. I also appreciate that they moved away from the powdered eggs. Would like to see omelets more ofter.

We were in town to meet family and this hotel was recommended to us. The lobby is really nice, lots of comfortable seating and space. There is a lounge, but it wasn't open while we were there. The breakfast was very good, each day was different...bagels, quiche, burritos, cereal, fruits, yogurt etc. Also have coffee and tea 24 hours in the lobby. Room was very clean and the bed and pillows were perfect. The only complaint I have about the room is that what I thought was a mini - fridge, was actually a cooler. Never did get it to work properly. There is some noise from the traffic, but I had earplugs with me and slept just fine.

The location was ideal for my business trip and very convenient to where I needed to be. Unfortunately, the initial check-in experience was disappointing. The payment system was down, and while I understand technology issues happen, the front desk agent seemed frantic and unsure how to manage the situation or assist waiting guests. It took about 30 minutes before a manager stepped in and offered a solution. The room itself felt like sleeping in a box, not because of the size, but because there was nothing but gray throughout the space. The lack of color made it feel cold and confined. On top of that, the road noise was incredibly loud all night. I ended up sleeping with a pillow over my ears just to get some rest. It's nicely decorated, but the rooms are literally 15 feet from a busy highway. Road noise keeps you up all night. It includes breakfast, but it's the bare bones "powdered eggs" typical of low rent hotels.
