Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Atlanta McDonough

Hotel was very well maintained. The staff were extremely kind and professional. AJ & Brianna went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and a nice way to wake up in the morning. We really appreciate how clean the hotel was at all times. They have a nice laundry area, gym and indoor pool. We enjoyed so many great restaurants in the area. This hotel is centrally located so anything you need is within a mile. Target, HomeGoods, Marshalls and tons of other stores in the area. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone that is going to be in the area.

When you're tired from work or just need a pit stop for the night with family from driving, this hotel is right off I75 in Lovejoy, but the main city is McDounagh, Georgia.||It's clean, updated, modern, and well lit parking lot and plenty of good quick eats in the surrounding area.||AJ who works behind the desk recognized me from previous stays welcomed me back, and upgraded me to a suite. Always a great conversation with a fellow baseball fan like me!!! The hotel was not busy at all and plenty of front parking in their lot. |Complementary breakfast at their dining room in the AM. Coffee to go and it's time to hit the road to South East Florida!!!||Safe travels!!!

This is my 8th time staying here and my first review. All other times have been great except my 2nd stay (woke up at 5am because the fire alarms went off and everyone had to evacuate - faulty system. This current visit, I'm on the 3rd floor and the parking lot flood lights beam straight into my room - feels like day time when I'm trying to sleep. I also turned the AC unit off, but the fan doesn't stop no matter what temp it is set for. SO NOISY AND ANNOYING! if they want me to rebook, I better never get this room or any room like this again.

I have stayed at this location several times. It is right off of I75. The customer service has always been great, with all of the staff I interacted with being friendly and willing to provide good recommendations on local eateries. It has always been a clean place to stay with a hot breakfast (not continental) in an area that has a ton of shopping, (including an outlet mall not far). There are lots of fast-food and sit down restaurants within a mile. It is well lit and I felt safe while there.
