Extended Stay America Suites- Washington D.C. - Falls Church - Merrifield

Extended Stay America offers decent rooms for a reasonable price. This isn’t the Ritz-Carlton, but it’s good value for the money. Recently I stayed in the Extended Stay America near Washington in Fairfax, VA. A lady named Srijana was working the front desk, and she was very helpful. My friend and I needed a larger room, and Srijana made the switch for us in the office. Later, she stopped by the room in person to make sure everything was okay with us and the room. That extra effort and personal service was unexpected and most appreciated. By the way, I read several negative reviews of this particular hotel online. In my experience, it was a safe, comfortable, and decent place to stay. I actually saw several US military personnel staying there, so the pace seemed plenty secure to me. Thank

The hotel is the old motel style with exterior doors, however, the room was exceptionally clean with a kitchenette including a refrigerator/freezer, microwave and two countertop burners. Dishes, pans, etc. Are available on request. Some of the personnel didn't seem to know what they were doing and the breakfast box was just chocolate muffin, breakfast bar, and coffee. Very poor selection with no fruit or protein items.

Positive: It's a good hotel. Just showing it's age. Needs some fix up like paint peeling on the bottom of the bathroom door. Fixing the sink. Water temp controls are reversed. Just cosmetic stuff Negative: All was great

I had a great experience staying at this extended stay hotel. The service was consistently excellent, and Srijana truly stood out. She was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was comfortable during my stay. The room was clean and well-maintained, and I felt genuinely welcomed. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

I stayed at the Extended Stay America in Merrifield during a snowstorm this past weekend because of its proximity to the hospital where I work. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible. The parking lot was not plowed at all—multiple cars were stuck in the middle of the lot and unable to get out. After speaking with the general manager, Naginder, we were told he was “trying to get someone” to plow the lot. Two days later, nothing had been done. The walkways and stairwells were also not salted until days after the snow, creating a serious safety hazard. This level of neglect is unacceptable, especially during severe weather. The “breakfast” was also extremely disappointing, consisting only of an oatmeal packet and packaged muffins. To make matters worse, a coworker of mine was staying at t
