Nicely refurbished Sonesta suites, with well provisioned and comfortable rooms. Furnishings and interior have been refreshed in past few years and the tv and WiFi system is excellent. Bedding and bathrooms comfortable and toiletries of a good standard. The courtyard space is gorgeous and the gym is above average for this level of property. Newish appliances in kitchenette and inbuilt ice-maker in fridge. Good shopping adjacent, along with walkable pub/restaurant, Starbucks, petrol, grocery stores etc. Onsite coin laundry. just around the corner from regular and express exits for I-66. Warm welcome from the helpful reception team. ||Downsides are minimal, but noticeable. *****Update: Management does not equally enforce quiet hours polices on their guests. We have had multiple issues with noise as the walls are paper thin in this hotel. However, when expressing the complaint, the manager did not help resolve the issue with the other guests below us who were making extremely loud vibrating and thumping sounds every night including during the day, for hours on end. After multiple attempts at contacting the front desk and management they only merely said they talked to the guests who only became louder. I never got sleep as a result and management dismissed our concerns and downplayed the severity of the issue. She was also out during the entire time we were dealing with the stepping/stomping. Not a good spot if your mobility limited. The rooms are not connected to the main desk so you have to wheel the luggage cart across the parking lot and down the sidwalks which are all uneven and the carts tires were not all properly inflated so it almost tipped over. The TV did not work I called for service but was notified the gentleman needed about 20-30 mins to come check it out.. There were literally only 2 towels in the place and no bar soap. Check out is at 11 but breakfast is only served till 9 so don't think about sleeping in and if you didn't think about sleeping in dont worry room services knocked on our door and the guy across the hall at about 915 asking us if we were staying anything night leaving us both staring at us wondering why we were just woken up....

Positive: "" Negative: We stayed for 6 nights, and they never cleaned the bathroom. We called the receptionist, an older man, but he didn’t care and never sent housekeeping. There was no phone in the room, so we had to use our cell phone to call the front desk.

Clean. Comfortable. Quiet. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe. The location in Fairfax is very close to Starbucks and shopping. The staff at the hotel was very welcoming and very polite. It was a great experience and I would return.
