Extended Stay America Suites- Washington D.C. - Fairfax - Fair Oaks Mall

For our short term needs, this property was very well suited. The location is where we needed to be for a variety of reasons. The facility is essentially self-service one you check in and little need to engage the staff beyong housekeeping. The nit-pick to the Service score is that there are times when front desk staff is away for extended periods and you have to wait. Beyond that, staff is friendly and accommodating.

I stayed at this hotel and really enjoyed it! The staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome. The room was clean, comfy, and had everything I needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would come and stay again!

The good experience when stay extended stay America. We’re stayed 9 nights. We’re happy it quiet and clean room. So towels and bed is clean. You can borrow pan, bowls, cutting plates to cook. Sure come back again

We have stayed in this hotel twice, last year for a long period and this year for a short period. Great hotel, clean rooms, but mostly the manager and front staff are amazing. Friendly and helpful. We would pick this location if we need ever need to again. Thank you tons!!!!!

This hotel is old and dated. The hallways smells like mildew & mold. They do not offer housekeeping; instead you have to bring towels down to then main lobby to request new ones. The blankets are military-style and uncomfortable. The key card to my room deactivated every day and I had to go to the lobby to have it keyed back to my room. There are no employees available after 11pm (front desk is closed). There are no water fountains at the hotel (but you can buy bottle water for $4). There is no gym. Only reason for 2 stars is because it’s located within walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Would never stay here again.
