If you don’t have a car, this is the place to stay. Everything you could need is literally steps away. There’s a full shopping center right in front/next door with multiple barber shops, a huge grocery store, beauty supply, AutoZone, Foot Locker, Subway, Chipotle, Ross, and more. A 7-Eleven and the post office are also just a few feet away. The 35 bus, which goes directly to the local train station, is right outside—no car needed at all. Ubereats,Doordash,Instacart brings your items right up to your room. The staff here is genuinely kind and professional, day and night. Most issues are handled the same day or within 24 hours, and they’re clearly focused on getting things done the right way. No, this is not a Ritz-Carlton but the location, our room with kitchenette, cleanliness, and ESPECIALLY the staff (Michael, Senait, Bilen, Said, Akram), and all the housekeepers make this place special. We left an AirBNB last year because we were unhappy and are SO lucky we found this Stay America - Landmark in Alexandria, VA. It felt like home for the two months we were there and so it was an easy choice to come back for another two months this year. VERY quiet, too. We will REALLY MISS IT and everyone there when we leave on Christmas Day. Santa John and Santa Donald. HO HO HO!!!

I have stayed at many Extended Stay Americas over the years and this one is definitely a cleaner, nicer and quieter one. Upon my arrival i was greeted by a beautiful woman named Bilen working at the front desk. She was warm, kind and very helpful. She made the check in fast and easy while making me feel very welcome. In fact all the staff here at Extended Stay America, are very kind, helpful and always pleasant. Cant speak highly enough of this establishment. 6 stars. Great job!

When we booked this hotel, I was shocked that we paid $175 upon arrival... I've stayed at an Extended Stay in California before that was decent, However this hotel should have never been more than $70. We came with some friends, who had also booked a room there, so I felt locked in. Their first room was so dirty, they were able to be moved to a new room no problem. The room that my family had gotten however, was much worse. The smell just getting off the elevator was harsh, which should've been a clue. Entering the room was, however, so much worse. Better put.. smelled like boiled broccoli and asparagus, smelly feet and dirty laundry. We tried to air it out without asking for a new room, I hate being the person to complain, but it was so bad.
