Extended Stay America Suites- Rockford - I-90

Hi! This is happening right now. I checked in less than 48 hours ago. Is this normal? It’s caked on and couldn’t be cleaned off with just a towel. Also there’s a screw missing. The sinks look like this too. With the lack of cleanliness and frequent visits from the local police, I’m concerned about staying any longer, what do you think I should do?

This hotel was extremely rude/dirty. The staff hardly pays attention to the guests. I came out of my room to speak to the front desk to get new towels & was standing there for a whole 5 minutes before the lady Diana came around to even notice me and then I still never got my towels. & Under my bed was FILTHY it looks like they swept everything underneath & never cleaned under there! & when I informed the staff they didn’t even apologize. I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!!!

Positive: It met my expectations overall. It was very close to a good pizzeria and shopping. Negative: Needed to force the room door shut. Quite a few people loitering around the side door, but I didn't feel unsafe.

My family and I are currently relocating, and in the midst of this we've happened to be blessed to come across this wonderful establishment. The fantastic Receptionist Diana was and has been such a sweet heart throughout our booking process, and our extended stay. We did run into some minor issues (nothing truly just technicality issues) but the manager Dan was right on the scene and quickly helped solve what was going on. These rooms are all well kept, clean smelling, they have a very pleasant atmosphere, and with Walmart not too far to stock up with your own food and personals (or the front desk offers so many options) it's easy to call this a temporary home. This place was truly a great value for a week visiting family. Simple, yet clean and feels like a full-price hotel without breaking the bank. :) The room comes with a full sized fridge, and it’s easy to request kitchen essentials from the kind and helpful front desk team. As others have posted, the staff is responsive and a pleasure to talk to, and I’m impressed with the level of care and service for the price point.||Just one small word of caution: the website posted pre-taxes/fees total when I booked but was charged at the higher margin (+15-17%) later. Still was a reasonable total, but it’d be best if their corporate website was forthcoming with this.
